新しいドライスーツはピンク！！・・・My new dry suit is PINK!!

今年最初の大きなお買い物。ドライスーツを新調しちゃいました！イギリスの会社、オッター・ドライスーツ(Otter Drysuits)の、メンブレン・ドライスーツの一つ、ブリタニックMK2というタイプ。フレキシビリティも良く、耐久性も強い一品。前回購入したサンティ(Santi)のスーツは、耐久性という点では残念な結果だったので、今回のスーツはかなり期待しているところ。
デザイン的にも、余分な空気を溜め込まないよう、工夫されている。その上、色の選択肢も多く、黒ばっかりのヨーロッパ・ダイバー達の中で、個性が加わって良い感じ。
日本人としては、やはり黒ばっかりではつまらないので、今回のピンク、かなり良い感じ。
評判も上々。このタイプは、あまり日本では見かけないけれど、インナーの種類を変えることで、３シーズン快適に使用する事ができ、ドライをいつも使用したい人には良いのよね。ただ、ネオプレンのドライに比べると、少々お値段が・・・そこは、どれだけダイビングに投資できるかにも関わってくるかしらん。
My first big shopping of this year. I bought a new dry suit, Britannic MK2 by Otter Drysuits, UK. It has good flexibility and strength. My former suit by Santi was good looking but wasn't strong enough, which disappointed me a lot. I am expecting better with this new suit.
Its design is good as well, squeezing excess air better. Besides, there are variety of colours. It makes unique among "all black" European divers.
As a Japanese, it is not fun to have just black. This pink looks quite nice. I've received very good comments about it. This type of dry suit isn't common in Japan; however, it is quite nice for "dry suit" lovers for you can choose different inner garments according to the season. The only down side is the price. It is a bit more expensive than neoprene suits. It depends how much you want to invest for your diving, I guess.

マルタ島からメリークリスマス！！・・・Merry Christmas from Malta

メリークリスマス☆彡(´∀｀*)　皆さんにはサンタさんは来ましたか？今年のクリスマス、ダイビングしちゃいました！気温１７℃、水温が水面で２０℃、水底で１７℃。１２月とは思えない暖かさでした。見たことのないウミウシとも出会えて、とても素敵なダイビングでした。

Merry Christmas!! Has Santa Clause come to you? I went for a dive this Christmas morning. Air temperature was 17C, water temperature on surface was 20C and at the bottom was 17C. It was quite warm for December. I could find some nucibranchs which I had never seen. It was wonderful!!

気が付けば１２月!! ナオさん、インストラクターおめでとう！-- OMG! It's already December!! Nao-san has become an OWSI!!

おっとっと！気が付けばすでに１２月！！！どれだけブログをサボっていたのか・・・お恥ずかしい・・・「今年はガンバル！」と固い決意をしたハズなのに。情けなし。ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟそれでも「終り良ければ全て良し」と信じて、残り僅かな２０１３年を飾りたいと思います。
今月は嬉しいニュースもありました。先月、ダイブワイズでインストラクター養成コースを取り、実技試験に合格したナオさんが、無事日本で筆記試験も合格し、晴れてインストラクターとなりました！！ヤッター！！(´▽｀)/　これからどんどん、活躍してもらいたいです！

OMG!! It's already December!! I haven't written the blog for long...how lazy...shame on me! I had a resolution to write it more often, though...sob sob sob... Anyway, I believe "All is well that ends well" is true. I shall try my best for the rest of the year 2013.
I received a wonderful news. Nao, who took Instructor Development Course last month and passed Instructor Exam for skills and presentation, just passed written exam in Japan as well and became an Open Water Scuba Instructor!! Hooray!!! I wish you all the best, Nao!!

 

今週のオメデトウ！！・・・Congratulations of this week!!

今週も、日本人ダイバーの受講者がいっぱい！毎日、楽しいダイビングを一緒にできました。ディスカバー・スキューバ・ダイビング、オープンウォーター、アドバンス、皆、頑張りました！！おめでとう！！これからも、どんどん、ダイビングを楽しんでください！！

We have many Japanese divers taking courses this week again. I had great time with them every day. Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water Diver, and Advanced Open Water. Everybody did very well!! Congratulations!! I hope you enjoy diving more and more!!

 

８月のマルタ島は、日本人ダイバーでイッパイでーす！！・・・Full of Japanese Divers in this August in Malta!!

８月も半ばを迎え、皆さん、いかがお過ごしなのでしょうか。ここマルタ島は、日本人ダイバーでイッパイです！日本から遠路遥々いらっしゃる方々、そして近くはドイツ、イギリスからと、様々なダイバーさん達に囲まれ、とっても楽しいです！マルタ島のダイビングは、かなり体育会系。体力勝負な点も多く、アドバンス以上を求められるサイトが多いのですが、小柄な日本人ダイバー達が笑顔たっぷりで、笑い声をあげて盛り上がるものだから、他の国々のダイバーさん達には、とても不思議に見えるようです。でも、私達日本人、楽しむ事、大好きですから！！
It is already mid August. I hope everybody is fine. Here in Malta, we have full of Japanese divers this month!! Some come from all the way from Japan, and some come from near-by countries such as Germany, UK, etc. I am having so much fun!! Diving in Malta is physically challenging sometimes. Many dive site require divers to be qualified higher then Advanced Open Water. Small Japanese divers having so much fun with big laughter look very interesting to other divers. Well, we, Japanese love to have FUN!!
