沈船インペリアル・イーグルで、ナイトロックス２８のツインセットを背負ってダイビングしました。深さ約４０m。ちょっと前に荒波でブイが無くなってしまったので、その付け直しが我々のミッション！これで次回行く時に、とっても便利。
このダイブサイト、すぐ横に立っているイエス様の巨大像で有名なのですが、この沈船だって、なかなか面白いのです。１９３５年に作られてから、３度名前が変更されました。ニュー・ロイヤル・レディ号、クレステッド・イーグル号、そしてインペリアル・イーグル号。１９９５年に引退するまで、よく働いたのです。１９９５年１１月に、地元のダイビング団体に買い取られ、マリンパーク・プロジェクトの一つとして、今の場所へ沈められました。
約４０mという深めの沈船なので、やはりナイトロックス２８を使用して、少々長めに沈船へとどまるのがオススメ。
I used a twin set with Nitrox 28 to dive at MV Imperial Eagle. Dept was about 40m. Its buoy was blown away in the last storm. Our mission was to restore the buoy. It will be very convenient next time when we get there.
This site is well known with the big statue of Jesus; however, the wreck is quite interesting. She was built in 1935. Her name was changed 3 times since; New Royal Lady, Crested Eagle, and Imperial Eagle. She worked very hard till she retired in 1995. She was bought by the local diving community and was sank as a part of Marine Park Project in November, 1995.
Since it sit about 40m deep, I'd like to recommend to use Nitrox 28 to stay a bit longer on the wreck.
